We are writing to inform you that one or more cases of head lice has been identified in our school. Head lice are a common occurrence among school-age children and are NOT a health hazard or a sign of poor hygiene.
As a precaution, we recommend that you check your child’s hair and scalp this evening and over the next several days. Look closely at the scalp, especially behind the ears and at the nape of the neck, for live lice or small white eggs (nits) attached to the hair shaft.
To help prevent the spread of head lice, please remind your child not to share personal items such as hats, hairbrushes, or headphones.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact the school office or your healthcare provider.

We will begin with TK–1st grade at 10:30 a.m. The kids will bring home a Flyer today with the QR code so that you can access your students' photos. The rally is being held to send off the high school boys as they head to their divisional championship. We should return to the elementary school before the end of the school day.

Monday will kick off our Valentine’s Day Spirit Week! Please see the dress colors for each grade level below:
7th–8th Grade: Wear black
5th–6th Grade: Wear purple
2nd–4th Grade: Wear yellow
TK–1st Grade: Wear blue
Students who participate in each class will be counted daily and the winners will be announced at the end of the week.
