Hello parents at Happy Camp Elementary this is your proud Principal Mr. Cooper. Unfortunately as of today the whole school is going to distance-learning, starting February 16th. We have had a student who tested positive, if your child was at school last Monday and Tuesday the eighth and ninth in Ms. Logson’s class or attended rockets on those days, according to the CDC as well as a Siskiyou County health department your child will need to quarantine. This is why we are going to the distance learning model until February 24th or until further notice. Please be patient as your child’s teacher is preparing for distance-learning. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you through email or Google classroom. Thank you

Gary's morning bus run will run 30-45 minutes late. During the afternoon Gary's bus will run 10-20 minutes late. Indian meadows and upper Indian creek 25-35 minutes late. Hello! This is an important message regarding food distribution for Happy Camp Elementary School. Food will be distributed between 7:30 am and 10:00 am on Monday the 7th of December. In, addition, there will be a van at the old tribal gym as well as one at Kingfisher Market from 10:15 am to 10:30 am for those that missed their drop off. Please be aware that for safety reasons we will not go inside closed fences with animals. To help with distribution, please watch for the food vans in times slated above. Unfortunately, we will not leave food on porches because of stray animals. For more information please contact the office at 530-493-2267.
