Hello Happy Camp Elementary Parents and Students,
We are getting ready to ROW AHEAD! Happy Camp Elementary has new O.A.R.S.!
Welcome back to the new school year. (PART 1) The staff is ready for a great return for all our children! We have been hard at work the past week planning for the year ahead - and quite honestly the staff has been nothing short of inspirational. Despite challenges with COVID, we are refreshed with new furniture, new spaces, and new ideas that will push our community forward!
Be prepared to meet our O.A.R.S. We have 'branded' our school and look forward to teaching our new school values to the children and the community. Starting Tomorrow 8/25 - you will hear a lot about our O.A.R.S. Together, our staff has established a fresh look at our values and will be teaching and learning from our children from the bus to the kitchen, in the classrooms into the Rockets/Paddlers. As the year goes on, you too will learn how the O.A.R.S. will help our school. For now, be prepared for an awesome opening as we introduce the children to always be mindful of our O.A.R.S.: Openness, Accountability, Respect, and Safety - our TOP Priorities for the new school year.
Just a reminder, we are still required to wear masks while inside the buildings, until further notice. TK-8th grade.

(Part 2)
O.A.R.S.
Openness –Display a willingness to learn and accept our differences by acting with positive intent.
Accountability – Take responsibility for actions and learning with a positive mindset.
Respect – Treat everyone and property with a kind and caring heart.
Safety – Create a safe physical and emotional space for everyone to learn and grow.
With the beautiful Klamath River in our background, we have tons of new ideas to introduce this new theme to our students and families. It's going to be a great year. We look forward to seeing everyone back Tomorrow!
Just a reminder, we are still required to wear masks while inside the buildings, until further notice. TK-8th grade.
See you tomorrow! Parents are invited to stay for coffee and sweets from 8-8:30...
